Samsung’s new Ultra flagship is here with some big upgrades but does it make sense to buy the year-old model now?
Buying the 2024 flagship model this year for under Rs 1 lakh might not be a bad deal.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has been formally unveiled this week, and it offers many improvements over the Galaxy S24 Ultra. But despite all the hype, the design of the Galaxy S25 Ultra is quite similar rather than an upgrade over the S24 Ultra.
Even then Samsung believes that the Ultra model this year gets flat sides which provide a more pleasant grip. But the launch details and price of the Galaxy S25 Ultra have made people wonder if they should just spend their money on the Galaxy S24 Ultra and get a better deal.
Well, guess what, many listings for the Galaxy S24 Ultra can be found online, where you can pick up the 12GB + 256GB storage model for less than Rs 1 lakh in the country.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Online Offers: How It Works
When it comes to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the most attractive deal we found was for Rs 97,799. You can get to this price with the help of additional 5 percent instant cashback if you have the select bank cards. That’s not all, you can reduce the effective price by up to Rs 29,000 by trading in your old phone. The condition and market value of your previous phone will determine the final exchange value.
To verify, go to Amazon, pick the Galaxy S24 Ultra model you’d like, and enter your device’s information. If your trade-in is eligible for the highest possible value, you’ll be getting a great bargain on one of the top-tier phones available.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra At Discount Price: Worth Buying?
The Galaxy S24 Ultra is a smart buy, even without cashback offers or a phone exchange. Originally priced at Rs 1,29,999, the current deal offers an attractive discount of around Rs 36,000.
The phone’s display features an anti-reflective panel and it is powered by the reliable Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, coupled with 12GB of RAM. The standout feature is its 200MP camera which has been picked up for its successor as well. And you cannot forget the 7 years of OS upgrades promised for the device, along with 7 years of security updates, which lets you use the phone till 2031. So yes, going by all these details and the price available online, the S24 Ultra is still a good bet in the market.
