Expressing his joy at reuniting with his “two most important women”, Van Beek thanked for facilitating the welcome.
The cricketer shared his excitement in the caption, noting that he hadn’t seen his family for almost three months due to cricket commitments. Van Beek arranged bouquets of flowers and a portable speaker, creating a festive atmosphere with the ‘Welcome’ song. The video captures the emotional reunion as Van Beek’s wife, Elitsa, stepped out of a cab and shared a tight hug with her husband. Despite a promising start by the Dutch bowling unit, England posted a formidable 329 runs, with Ben Stokes contributing a century and Dawid Malan making significant contributions.
