New Delhi: A person was allegedly overwhelmed to loss of life and his two associates have been assaulted by some self-styled cow protectors for transporting cattle “illegally” at Sathanur space in Karnataka’s Ramanagara on Saturday, information company PTI reported.
According to the report, the incident came about when the deceased, recognized as Idrees Pasha and his two associates Irfan and Syed Zaheer have been transporting cattle.
The accused, recognized as Puneeth Kerehalli, and his workforce, stopped the trio and accused them of transporting the cattle illegally for slaughter. They even confirmed the papers, the receipt of the acquisition, and tried to purpose out however the accused demanded Rs 2 lakh. When they refused to pay the quantity, the workforce allegedly assaulted them.

Pasha, who tried to withstand them, was reportedly chased and overwhelmed up. His physique was later discovered alongside a street on the Sathnur Village in Ramanagara district of Karnataka.
Puneet Kerehalli, chief of a so-called ‘cow safety pressure’, is absconding, police stated.
The accused have been booked on expenses of homicide, wrongful restraint, and intentional insult with intent to impress a breach of the peace.
Zaheer and his associates have been booked below Sections of the Karnataka Prevention of Cow Slaughter and Cattle Prevention Act, Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, Transportation of Animals Act, and Motor Vehicles Act.
Meanwhile, stress prevailed on Saturday because the household of the deceased took to streets and demanded motion in opposition to the vigilantes, holding them chargeable for the loss of life of Idrees.
