The Prime Minister also pointed to 2026 being celebrated as the India-France Year of Innovation, highlighting the expanding cooperation between the two countries.

Modi also recalled the contribution and sacrifices of Indian soldiers in France, saying the history of their service remains alive in the hearts of people.

“History bears witness to the sacrifices of Indian soldiers in France, a legacy that remains alive in our hearts,” he said.
