According to a regulatory filing, the new unit was incorporated on September 8, 2026, at the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) in GIFT City, Gandhinagar.
It has been set up as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sun Pharma Laboratories Ltd, with a 100 per cent holding, including nominee shareholders.
The initial subscription to the unit’s equity share capital is about Rs 9.50 crore in cash, the company stated.
Sun Pharma added that registration and approval from the International Financial Services Centres Authority will be obtained to undertake the proposed activities.
