The farmers protested over a viral video during which a policeman was purportedly seen slapping an aged woman throughout a protest over land acquisition on Delhi-Katra nationwide freeway on May 17. Speaking about the identical, “We talked to them and requested the explanation for the protest. They stated that they have been protesting in opposition to the incident that happened yesterday in Gurdaspur. They demand that their concern is conveyed to the higher administration.”
