From the elaborate gold choker to a classic braided hairdo, here is how Janhvi Kapoor brought her A-game to Peddi’s song launch.

Janhvi Kapoor In Anamika Khanna Is The Exact Ethnic Blueprint Every Bride-To-Be Needs This Season
There is nothing in the fashion world that Janhvi Kapoor can’t pull off, but she has for long been the blueprint for traditional ethnic wear. Touching down in Bhopal alongside co-star Ram Charan for a grand music launch event for Peddi, Kapoor chose to channel modern Indian princess energy.
The actor stepped out in a striking deep-purple lehenga set designed by couturier Anamika Khanna. Crafted to capture the gaze of a packed crowd, the ensemble managed to balance heavy classic Indian craftsmanship with clean, structural lines.
Curated by the celebrity stylist Meagan Concessio, the look revolves around a gorgeous purple blouse. Featuring a classic round neckline and half-length sleeves, the top was tailored into a sharp, cropped hemline that highlighted Kapoor’s toned abs. The surface of the blouse is heavily worked with a meticulous layout of fine sequins, intricate zari embroidery, and small, pristine white beads.
Kapoor paired the blouse with an identically hued, high-waisted A-line lehenga skirt, embellished with traditional gold zari work. Completing the drape was a fluid purple chiffon dupatta. Kapoor wore it pinned cleanly to one shoulder, allowing the sheer fabric to sweep across her back and tuck neatly into the opposite side of her waist.
The Crown Jewels
To elevate the look to true royal territory, Kapoor wore traditional jewellery pieces from Mahesh Notandass. Kapoor bypassed delicate chokers for a massive, structural gold neckpiece heavily encrusted with gems and finished with cascading pearl drops. The standout feature of the set was a pair of layered pearl brooches pinned securely to her blouse, draping low over her chest.
Matching jhumkis complete with an elaborate kan phool (ear-cuff extension) framed her face, balanced by a traditional hath phool (hand harness) spanning across her hand and a heavy statement ring.
The hair team, led by Sourav Roy and Vidhi Pereira, kept the focus entirely on her face and neckpiece by weaving her long tresses into a neat, center-parted traditional braid. The makeup artists, Riviera Lynn and Rohit Mestry, complemented the rich purple fabrics by working with a base of warm, shimmering gold eyeshadow, softly smudged black eyeliner, and feathered brows. A healthy dusting of warm rouge and a hint of bronzer brought out a clean contour, anchored by a deep caramel nude lip shade and a tiny purple bindi centered on her forehead.
