Having did not defend her ladies’s singles title ultimately week’s Swiss Open, double Olympic medallist P V Sindhu dropped out of the world’s top 10 in the most recent BWF rankings issued on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old from Hyderabad, who has been struggling this season since returning to motion following an extended damage lay-off, slipped two locations to the eleventh spot with 60,448 factors.
A former world champion, Sindhu, who has a career-best rating of world quantity 2, has been in the top 10 since November, 2016. She first cracked the elite top 10 in August, 2013.
In males’s singles, HS Prannoy was static at World quantity 8, whereas Kidambi Srikanth dropped a rung to twenty first place and Lakshya Sen was twenty fifth.
Swiss Open champion Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty strengthened their world quantity six place, whereas ladies’s doubles pairing of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri (*10*) was static on the 18th place.
