Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has authorized the constitution of a welfare board for the Sikh community, an official launch mentioned.
Shri Guru Nanak Dev Sikh Welfare Board could have a md, a vice-chairman and 5 members. It will likely be administered by the minority affairs division, it mentioned on Friday.
According to the discharge, the board will execute varied work for the social, financial and cultural uplift of the Sikh community. A notification concerning its constitution has been issued by the minority affairs division.
