A row erupted when women bodybuilders posed in front of the picture of Lord Hanuman on the venue of the thirteenth Mister Junior Bodybuilding Competition held in Ratlam on March 4 and 5, after which native Congress leaders sprinkled ‘ganga jal’ as half of the “purification” of the venue on Monday. They had additionally recited ‘Hanuman Chalisa’.
Nath stated it has been a practice of the Sanatan Dharma to burn all of the evils to ashes throughout Holika dahan on the day of Holi.
“We not too long ago noticed how Lord Bajrangbali was disrespected in the BJP’s programme in Ratlam. My coronary heart is pained by this insult to Hindu Dharma. I urge you to burn effigies of evil in your metropolis and village at the moment and recite Sundar-kand (a component of Ramayana) and ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ to awaken goodness. Take half in Holika Dahan as per custom in the night time,” Nath tweeted.
As per the invitation card of the bodybuilding programme, the organising committee consists of town’s BJP mayor Prahlad Patel, whereas the patron is legislator Chaitanya Kashyap.
A video of the event, which surfaced on social media, confirmed women bodybuilders posing, resulting in former mayor and Congress chief Paras Saklecha accusing Patel and Kashyap of showcasing “indecency”.
