First up, you have the OnePlus 15R with its 6.78-inch AMOLED 1.5K display that has 165Hz refresh rate like its flagship cousin. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. You get it with the OxygenOS 16 version that is promised to get 4 OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches. The 15R packs the biggest battery from the brand at 7,400mAh with support for 80W wired charging speed.
One has to consider the Pixel 10 as an alternative to the iPhone 17e because of its price situation in the market. The main attraction will be the bigger camera unit compared to the 17e but still giving you a compact 6.3-inch form factor. Google’s AI is much further in the evolution compared to Apple but you have the Tensor G5 chipset which might be reliable but not as powerful as the A19 powering the iPhone 17e model.
Vivo’s V70 Elite is another new addition to the list and after getting to drive the device we find it capable of handling all the regular tasks and more for most users. It features a compact design with premium materials, and a Zeiss tuned triple rear camera system. You also get a large 6,500mAh battery with 90W charging support. All this for under Rs 55,000 in the market.
The Galaxy S25 FE easily becomes an option instead of the iPhone 17e for some buyers. Samsung is using its Exynos 2400 SoC to power the device with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It runs the latest One UI 8 version based on Android 16 and you will get 7 OS upgrades along with 7 years of security updates with the device. The S25 FE features a triple camera system that houses a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP telephoto lens with OIS and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. The phone packs a 4,900mAh battery that offers 45W charging speed but the charger is not available inside the box.
And finally, you have a Motorola phone in the form of Signature. The sleek design of the phone gives you 6.99mm thickness and weighs 186 grams. Even then you get better durability with IP68 + IP69 ratings and MIL-STD military grade protection as well. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset with 12 and 16GB RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. The device gets a triple camera system with a 50MP main Sony sensor, along with a 50MP Samsung ultrawide lens and a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto Sony lens.
