The 35-year-old Humpy, a former world Rapid champion, posted wins over Enkhtuul Altan-Ulzii (Mongolia), Armenia’s Mariam Mkrtchyan and Singaporean Gong Qianyun in spherical one, two and 4 respectively. The seventh-seed drew towards Kazakhstan’s Meruert Kamalidenova in the third spherical to safe 3.5 factors after 4 rounds.
Two different Indian gamers – D Harika (seeded six) and B Savitha Shri – with 2.5 factors are positioned thirty second and thirty third respectively after 4 rounds.
Tania Sachdev and Padmini with 2 factors lie in forty third and 59th locations.
