Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (UPSTF) probing into the Ayush admission rip-off arrested the owner of a private medical college and hospital in Mirzapur district in the wee hours of Wednesday.
The owner, Ritu Garg, is accused of facilitating the admission of undeserving candidates in connivance with the previous Ayurveda director, counseling in cost. They have been already arrested and booked for forging the NEET benefit.
STF has already filed a cost sheet in opposition to former Ayurveda director SN Singh, counselling in-charge Umakant Yadav, former senior assistant director Ayurveda Rajesh Singh, former junior assistant in Ayurveda Directorate Kailash Chandra Bhaskar. Director Uptron Powertronics Kuldeep Verma, AGM Uptron Powertronics Limited Prabodh Singh, administrators of private corporations Gaurav Gupta, Harswardhan Tiwari, Saurabh Maurya, Indradev Mishra, Rupesh Ranjan Pandey, Vijay Yadav, together with managers of private corporations Alok Trivedi, Dharmendra and Vijay, in a Lucknow courtroom final week.
The STF stated it surfaced in the course of the probe that accused SN Singh in connivance with two different officers and the organizing private agency, Soft Solution Private Limited, reportedly fiddled with the information they obtained from the directorate which led to admission of undeserving candidates.
The probe revealed that the pure order of the benefit was not adopted in many circumstances. In some circumstances, the chosen college students had not even appeared for the NEET both.
