Congress held a national convention of MGNREGA workers in New Delhi to protest changes made by the Centre to the rural employment guarantee law. Rahul Gandhi urged the poor to unite, drawing inspiration from farmers’ protests, while Kharge vowed to raise the issue forcefully during the upcoming Budget Session of Parliament.
