IT main Tech Mahindra has set up a think tank for Artificial Intelligence,CP Gurnani, CEO and MD of Tech Mahindra stated. “The think tank is set to work with academia and authorities to determine how we are able to “apply” human and machine intelligence to spice up innovation and rework India,” Gurnani added.
This comes after Tech Mahindra Chief Executive Officer CP Gurnani had strongly reacted to OpenAI founder Sam Altman’s feedback that Indian firms can not compete with their American counterparts on synthetic intelligence (AI) expertise.
Altman later clarified that his feedback had been taken out of context, “the query was about competing with us with $10 million, which I actually do think just isn’t going to work. But I nonetheless stated strive! However, I think it’s the fallacious query (sic),” stated Altman in a tweet.
