N Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP moved out of NDA months before the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, and thereafter Jan Sena was left as the only ally of BJP in Andhra Pradesh.
Kalyan emphasised that the old NDA alliance comprising BJP, TDP and Jan Sena was required for the stability of Andhra Pradesh. “After bifurcation, Andhra Pradesh needed stability, which is not there now…because of YSRCP government, the state is going haywire economically. My aim is to give stability to the state and for that all three allies of the NDA in 2014 – BJP, TDP and Jan Sena – should come together again,” Kalyan told ET.
Regarding the equations between the BJP and Andhra Pradesh’s ruling YSR Congress Party, Kalyan said: “It is a Government of India and Government of Andhra Pradesh relationship. Floor management is very important for every government at the Centre.”
