With the extension of the partnership with SLC, SPN will now have the published rights of the England and Wales Cricket Board and Pakistan Cricket Board.
The broadcaster will completely televise and reside stream the senior males’s cricket matches hosted by SLC in the course of the time period of the settlement. For the Sri Lanka market, Sony solely has the pay-television rights.
During the four-year rights cycle, India, Australia, England, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, West Indies, Ireland, and Afghanistan will tour Sri Lanka.
The Indian cricket workforce will tackle Sri Lanka on their house turf in 2024 and 2026. After a two-year hiatus, Team India will play 3 ODIs and three T20Is in opposition to Sri Lanka in July 2024. Team India will return to Sri Lanka in August 2026 to play their first Test sequence (2 matches) within the nation since 2017.
