Mehta will lead SPNI’s People & Organisation function, as well as Administration & Facilities. He will work with CEO Gaurav Banerjee and the senior leadership team on talent and succession, leadership development, culture, employee experience and organisational effectiveness.

Mehta joins SPNI from upGrad, where he served as CHRO and led the people agenda for the high-growth, founder-led organisation.
Before upGrad, he spent more than 14 years with Hindustan Unilever, where he held leadership roles across talent and leadership development, employer brand, organisation design and business HR. He was most recently HR Head – Home Care & Leadership Development, South Asia.

Banerjee said Mehta’s experience across a large established organisation and a high-growth company would be valuable as SPNI enters its next phase of growth.Banerjee also thanked Wadhwa for her contribution as CHRO. Wadhwa will continue her association with SPNI as Strategy Advisor.
An XLRI Jamshedpur alumnus, Mehta holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from VJTI Mumbai.
