A Sikh shopkeeper was killed by an unknown assailant in the Garhi Ata Mohammad space on the outskirts of Peshawar in Pakistan, the police mentioned, in accordance with media experiences.
The police mentioned an unidentified motorcyclist opened indiscriminate fireplace on Dyal Singh (35), killing him on the spot.
“The assailant parked his bike exterior Singh’s store and fireplace two photographs from a pistol,” Malik Habib, SP Saddar, informed Dawn, including that Singh acquired bullets in his head and chest, Dawn reported.
Habib mentioned the deceased was initially from Tirah valley in Khyber district, however had migrated to Peshawar and was residing in Mohallah Jogan Shah.
A press release issued by the town police mentioned SSP (Operations) Haroon-ur-Rasheed met Singh’s relations and knowledgeable them that CCTV footage has been obtained and a probe has been launched into the incident.
On May 15, 2022, two Sikh neighborhood members have been killed after unidentified gunmen opened fireplace on them in the jurisdiction of Sarband police station on the outskirts of the provincial capital.
The victims— Ranjeet Singh (38) and Guljeet Singh (42)— owned spice retailers in Battathal Bazaar, Dawn reported.
