As per the state authorities sources, 1.25 crore women will obtain their first installment of ‘1,000 at a click on of a button on Saturday. The cash will be transferred to their account on the tenth of each month.
There are 1.89 crore women within the state falling within the age bracket, of which 1.25 crore are eligible to avail the scheme.
