Congress Councillor Niranjan Hiremath made a big revelation regarding his daughter, Neha’s murder claiming she was killed because “she denied religious conversion”.
Neha Hiremath, daughter of Congress Councillor from Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) and a first-year Master of Computer Applications (MCA) student at KLE Technological University in Hubballi, was killed by her former classmate Fayaz at her college in broad daylight earlier this month. Neha’s murder on the campus of her college here sparked widespread condemnation and protests across the state.
“She was a true devotee as Sharnu paddati. They forced her to convert. Since she didn’t agree to religious conversion she was murdered,” Niranjan Hiremath said.
