The parents reiterated that they were very disappointed with the behaviour of police and administration on the day of their daughter’s death but have faith in CBI.
Adhikari announced a demonstration programme in front of Raj Bhawan on December 10 demanding justice for the RG Kar victim. “The BJP MLAs will sit for dharna and we will demand justice. We all support the family and will not allow the matter to die down unless our sister gets justice,” Adhikari said.
The parents of the victim doctor interacted with Adhikari and other BJP MLAs and urged them to support them in their fight.
“We have faith in the CBI. We will not forget what we faced that morning after the death of my daughter. We have lost everything. We are waiting for justice for our daughter,” the victim’s mother said.

Adhikari announced that on December 10, the BJP legislators will stage demonstrations within and outside the Assembly demanding speedy justice for the victim and her family members.The victim’s parents also met Naushad Siddique, the sole India Secular Front (ISF) MLA and made a similar plea to him. The body of the PGT doctor was recovered from a seminar room in the RG Kar hospital on August 9. The initial probe was done by the Kolkata Police and later the case was handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) by the Calcutta High Court.
