This initiative adds to the growing trend of live sports being showcased in cinema halls, offering audiences an alternative to traditional at-home viewing. PVR Inox had screened Indian Premier League and International Cricket Council matches in cinemas.
The live screenings are scheduled for Saturday, July 12, and Sunday, July 13, and will be held at select luxury cinemas in Mumbai, Gurugram, and Bengaluru. The matches, including the Ladies’ and Gentlemen’s Singles and Doubles Finals, will begin at 5:30 PM and 8:30 PM on both days.
The participating venues are PVR Maison Inox at Jio World Plaza in Mumbai, PVR Ambience Mall in Gurugram, and PVR Inox at The Nexus Mall in Bengaluru. These cinemas will feature Wimbledon-themed photo booths and curated experiences starting from the evening of Friday, July 11. A special menu inspired by British summer flavours will also be available during the screenings.
