Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Friday mentioned the state authorities has determined to introduce inexperienced colour-coded stamp papers for the industry sector, which is able to facilitate early clearances of the initiatives for industrialists.
Mann mentioned clearance for new industrial initiatives will likely be given inside two weeks for the industrialists after they apply for the identical with the inexperienced colour-coded stamp paper.
This will facilitate the industrialists, he mentioned in a video message.
The green-coloured stamp paper will imply the manufacturing facility proprietor has taken all permissions, he mentioned.
Punjab is the primary state which has determined to have colour-coded stamp paper for industry, he mentioned.
The chief minister mentioned, “For instance, if any industrialist desires to arrange a manufacturing facility in Punjab. When he identifies the land, he must inform the federal government by way of the ‘Invest Punjab’ portal or go to its workplace and apply.
“Our Change of Land Use group, which grants permission, will take ten days for the method. After the go forward by them, the industrialist will likely be requested to buy the inexperienced color stamp paper.
“This stamp paper will likely be costlier than different stamp papers. It could have all essential permissions, together with Change of Land Use, Forest division clearance, Pollution and Fire division charges, and NoCs will likely be included in these stamp papers,” he mentioned, including that the step will save industrialists from hassles.
After the land registry is finished, the unit proprietor can start establishing his manufacturing facility.
Later, colour-coded stamp papers will even be used for housing and different sectors, he added.
