The motion follows the sealing of a Srinagar-based property of the founder and self-styled chief commander of the Al-Umar Mujahideen, Mushtaq Zargar alias ‘Latram’, on Thursday.
“Reshi, a ‘listed terrorist’ underneath the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), has been working from Pakistan after his exfiltration there. He has been discovered funding terror actions and acts in the Kashmir Valley,” an NIA spokesperson mentioned.
The official mentioned Reshi had joined militant ranks in 2015 and was concerned in planning and executing an assault on a police guard put up in Sopore that killed a constable and injured others.
