New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday laid the inspiration stone and inaugurated improvement projects worth round ₹4400 crore in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the projects embody initiatives below the city improvement, water provide, street and transport, and mines and minerals departments.
During the ceremony, the prime minister inaugurated the augmentation of multi-village consuming water provide schemes in Banaskantha district, a river overbridge in Ahmedabad, a drainage assortment community at Naroda GIDC, sewage therapy vegetation in Mehsana and Ahmedabad, and an auditorium in Dahegam, amongst others.
He laid the inspiration stone for bulk pipeline projects in Junagadh district, augmentation of water provide schemes in Gandhinagar district, building of flyover bridges, new water distribution stations, and varied city planning roads.
The prime minister participated in the Gruh Pravesh of round 19,000 homes constructed below the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) scheme, and handed over keys to beneficiaries through the programme. The complete outlay of the PMAY projects is round ₹1950 crores.
Earlier in the day, PM Modi additionally participated in the twenty ninth Biennial Conference of the All India Primary Teacher’ Federation – Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Sangh Adhiveshan.
