The
Hyderabad
police
on
Thursday
arrested
a
Pakistani
national.
The
24-year-old
had
illegally
entered
India
via
Nepal
and
has
been
residing
in
the
state
since
2022
with
his
wife.
The
accused
is
identified
as
Faiz
Mohammed
from
Shangal
district,
Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa
of
Pakistan,
Deputy
Commissioner
of
Police
(South
Zone)
P
Sai
Chaitanya
said
in
a
release.

He
had
entered
India
without
a
valid
visa
and
had
been
staying
illegally
in
Kishan
Bagh
area
here
at
the
residence
of
his
wife,
who
is
from
Hyderabad,
the
cops
said.
A
Pakistani
passport
and
other
documents
were
seized
from
his
possession.
He
arrived
in
Hyderabad
to
reunite
with
his
wife
and
son,
as
his
in-laws
had
assured
him
of
arranging
fake
identification
documents
to
facilitate
his
stay
in
India,
according
to
a
report
in
PTI.
A
case
was
registered
under
relevant
sections
of
IPC
and
the
Foreigners
Act
against
Faiz.
The
man’s
in-laws,
who
are
named
as
accused
in
the
case
are
absconding.
In
2018,
Faiz
had
travelled
to
the
UAE
with
the
intention
of
working
at
a
garments
company.
A
year
subsequent,
he
crossed
paths
with
a
29-year-old
woman
from
Hyderabad
and
played
a
role
in
aiding
her
employment
in
the
same
place.
Subsequently,
the
alleged
perpetrator
entered
into
matrimony
with
her,
and
the
pair
were
subsequently
graced
with
a
son,
as
per
the
authorities.
The
woman,
subsequently,
came
back
to
Hyderabad
in
August
2022
and
was
staying
at
Kishan
Bagh
in
the
city.
The
cops
have
started
investigations
to
get
more
information.
