Pakistan: At least 8 policemen have been killed whereas greater than 20 others have been injured in a suspected suicide assault on Monday at a Counter Terrorism Department police station in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Swat valley.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Chief Akhtar Hayat Khan stated safety officers have been on ‘excessive alert’ all through the province.
According to District Police Officer Shafi Ullah Gandapur, “There have been two blasts contained in the station, which destroyed the constructing.”
