launched
from
Ambedkar
Nagar
in
Madhya
Pradesh
to
New
Delhi,
marking
a
tribute
to
B.R.
Ambedkar
on
the
eve
of
his
birth
anniversary.

Birla
and
Madhya
Pradesh
Chief
Minister
Mohan
Yadav
inaugurated
the
service.
The
event
was
attended
virtually
by
Railway
Minister
Ashwini
Vaishnaw
and
Union
Minister
Savitri
Thakur,
among
others.

to
B.R.
Ambedkar
Vaishnaw
highlighted
that
this
train
honours
Ambedkar’s
contributions
as
the
chief
architect
of
the
Indian
Constitution.
He
also
mentioned
plans
for
a
Bharat
Gaurav
train,
which
will
connect
significant
sites
related
to
Ambedkar’s
life,
including
his
birthplace
and
cremation
site,
to
facilitate
visits
for
his
followers.

Nagar-Kota-New
Delhi

Express
is
seen
as
a
gift
to
Madhya
Pradesh
on
Ambedkar
Jayanti.
Chief
Minister
Yadav
stated
that
this
service
would
enhance
connectivity
with
Delhi,
boosting
both
economic
and
social
development
in
the
state.
It
promises
passengers
a
convenient
and
affordable
travel
option.
Train
Schedule
and
Route
Dilip
Kumar
from
the
Railway
Board
provided
details
about
the
train’s
schedule.
“During
its
daily
normal
operation,
the
train
will
start
from
Dr
Ambedkar
Nagar
at
3.30
pm
every
day
and
reach
New
Delhi
at
4.25
am
the
next
day
morning
via
Indore,
Ujjain
and
Kota.” On
its
return
journey,
it
departs
New
Delhi
at
11.25
pm,
arriving
back
at
Dr
Ambedkar
Nagar
by
12.50
pm
the
following
day.
Covering
a
distance
of
848
km
in
approximately
13
hours,
this
train
connects
15
key
cities
across
Madhya
Pradesh
and
Rajasthan.
This
new
service
is
expected
to
significantly
improve
travel
options
for
residents
in
these
regions
while
honouring
a
pivotal
figure
in
India’s
history.
