De Leede surpassed the previous record held by Australia’s Mick Lewis, set during the memorable South Africa vs. Australia ODI in 2006 in Johannesburg, where both teams scored over 400 runs in each inning. Earlier in the year, Adam Zampa equalled this record against South Africa. In Australia’s late onslaught, De Leede was struck for 6 sixes and 13 boundaries.
