A toll plaza arrange on the Kiratpur Sahib-Nangal-Una stretch of the road close to Nakkian village 15 years in the past was shut down right here on Saturday.
On the event, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann stated it’s the eighth toll plaza shut down by his authorities in the previous one 12 months.
He alleged that the SAD and Congress governments in the state had favoured the concessionaire and did not take motion even because the phrases and situations of the contract have been violated by the concessionaire.
The AAP authorities would take motion towards the the then PWD ministers of those governments who failed in taking motion towards the concessionaire, he stated.
He stated it might be ensured that the PWD maintained these roads correctly.
He stated the farmers who had suffered losses due to the latest rain would obtain compensation by Baisakhi.
