New Delhi: Meyer Vitabiotics, a nutraceutical company has secured entries in both the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records for organising the country’s largest bone health screening initiative. The company conducted 1,342 bone health camps and screened 72,635 individuals across India in a single month.
Meyer Vitabiotics has consistently driven public health initiatives that highlight the importance of calcium, magnesium, and vitamin D in preventing conditions such as osteoporosis.

Speaking about the scale and depth of the campaign, Sudeep Mukherjee, President – India Business, Meyer Vitabiotics, said, “The month-long initiative spanned towns and cities across India, offering free Bone Mineral Density screenings, personalized counselling, and educational resources,” he said. “It enabled young adults, women, and senior citizens to assess their bone health and receive guidance on nutrition and lifestyle practices that support stronger bones.”
The initiative mobilised doctors, healthcare professionals, diagnostic partners, and wellness experts across states to ensure scientific rigor and local accessibility. Camps offered bone health assessments, nutritional recommendations, and preventive wellness literature, reaching metropolitan hubs as well as tier 2 and tier 3 cities. Early signs of bone health deterioration were detected in several communities, encouraging many individuals to adopt preventive lifestyle changes.
The campaign screened more than 72,000 individuals helped identify early-stage bone weakness and nutritional deficiencies that might otherwise have gone unnoticed.
Through partnerships with medical associations, hospitals, and regional healthcare networks, the initiative demonstrated how coordinated action among industry, clinicians, and communities can meaningfully reduce the burden of non-communicable diseases.
