After
receiving
his
re-election
certificate,
Prasad
addressed
the
council.
He
stated,
“A
survey
is
underway
to
pick
candidates
from
among
you
people.
I
will
take
a
final
decision
in
consultation
with
Tejashwi.” He
encouraged
members
to
support
his

in
the
electoral
process.
Leadership
and
Family
Support
The
veteran
leader
expressed
satisfaction
with
his
son
Tejashwi’s
efforts.
“I
keep
getting
feedback
from
him
on
a
regular
basis.
He
is
always
on
the
move,
travelling
to
the
farthest
corners
of
the
state,” Prasad
noted.
Often,
he
learns
about
Tejashwi’s
tours
only
after
they
conclude.
Prasad
also
expressed
gratitude
towards
his
wife,
Rabri
Devi.
She
stepped
into
politics
when
he
had
to
resign
as
Bihar’s
chief
minister
due
to
a
CBI
charge
sheet
in
the
fodder
scam.
“I
am
grateful
to
her
for
being
a
pillar
of
support,” he
said,
acknowledging
her
role
during
his
absence.
Health
Challenges
and
Commitment
Despite
health
challenges,
Prasad
remains
committed
to
his
party.
Speaking
from
his
chair
in
a
frail
voice,
he
assured,
“I
will
not
let
the
party
down.”
He
emphasized
his
dedication
to
supporting
party
workers
without
concern
for
his
own
health.
Delegates
from
various
regions
attended
the
event,
including
MV
Shreyams
Kumar
from
Kerala.
Prasad
urged
these
colleagues
to
bolster
the
party’s
strength
as
they
prepare
for
the
assembly
elections.
Prasad
has
entrusted
leadership
responsibilities
to
Tejashwi,
urging
everyone
to
work
hard
for
electoral
success.
His
commitment
to
the
party
remains
unwavering
despite
age
and
health
issues.
