Police in Lahore have arrested 20 individuals, including both men and women, for being intoxicated at a dance party hosted at a private hotel on Gurumangat Road.
The authorities seized bottles of alcohol, shisha smoking equipment, dancing poles, and sound systems during the raid, which was carried out following a tip-off received by the Ghalib Market Police Station.
The arrested individuals include a mix of both locals and others, such as Aini, Ramla, Shahbaz, Sonam, Nisha Sajad, Umar, Aqsa, Nida, Ajwa, Waqar, Zohaib, and Ali Shah.
These individuals have been booked under various charges, and investigations are ongoing.
SP Ikhlaq Allah Tarar confirmed that the crackdown on those violating the Sound Act will continue in the future.
