IPL 2024, KKR vs SRH Live Score: Hello and welcome to the live coverage of the Match 3 of Indian Premier League 2024 between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Both the sides endured a dismal campaign last time around as they failed to qualify for the play-offs, but winning is in their DNA as both these sides are former champions, with KKR winning the competition twice (2012 and 2014).
Kolkata Knight Riders will be pleased with the return of Shreyas Iyer, as the talisman returns as captain of the side after missing out the last sesson due to a back injury. KKR has also gone under a mentorship change as prodigal son, Gautam Gambhir, has returned to the franchise after 7 years, this time as a mentor. The Delhi-based cricketer has delivered the most glorious and illustrious years of KKR’s IPL history, with two titles in 3 years.
Kolkata Knight Riders has seen some great addition to their roster, with the likes of Phil Salt, Mitchell Starc, Mujeeb Ul Rahman, and Shermane Rutherford at their disposal and KKR does possess a threat as they seem to be the ultimate dark horse of the tournament.
Sunrisers Hyderabad, on the other hand, endured one of the worst campaigns of their IPL history last time around, and the lack of experienced and consistent Indian players in the side raises questions over the ability of the side to qualify for the play offs. However, the franchise have now Pat Cummins in their ranks, who is one of the greatest and successful captains in the history of the sport.
