New Delhi: India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 211.91 (2,11,91,05,738) crore. This has been achieved through 2,82,08,570 sessions. So far, more than 4.02 (4,02,61,326) crore adolescents have been administered the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
7,591 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours. India’s active caseload currently stands at 84,931. Active cases now constitute 0.19 per cent of the country’s total positive cases.
9,206 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours and the cumulative tally of recovered patients is now at 4,38,02,993. Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.62 per cent.
The last 24 hours saw a total of 1,65,751 COVID-19 tests being conducted. India has so far conducted over 88.52 (88,52,08,552) crore cumulative tests. The weekly positivity rate in the country currently stands at 2.69 per cent and the daily positivity rate is reported to be 4.58 per cent.
