Edited excerpts:
Bajrang Bali has entered the ballot fray. Do you suppose this challenge has put the Congress on the again foot?
They purposely do it throughout election time. In Goa, they banned the Sri Ram Sena and nobody stated something, not even the PM. In this election, as a result of they worry they’re shedding, they’re elevating this challenge. A majority of persons are Hindu right here, and everybody worships completely different gods and deities. Why ought to politics be merged with faith? The two should be separate. But these folks need to combine it and polarise the state.
But when your state chief DK Shivakumar says he’ll construct Hanuman temples if the Congress involves energy, it appears you’re on the backfoot…
I don’t know what DK stated as I used to be in Hubballi. But to offer an instance, in my constituency, I needed to construct roads, and so on. But many individuals got here as much as me and stated they needed assist to renovate or construct temples. So I stated okay, as I needed to respect their religion. You will probably be shocked to know that in my constituency alone, I renovated and constructed 80 Hanuman temples. The better part is anybody who belongs to any caste can go there.
What concerning the ban on Bajrang Dal? Your leaders have stated it isn’t doable for state governments to do such a factor…
Again, I don’t need to touch upon what others in my get together have stated. We will see what may be completed if we come to energy.

Tell me one factor. Is a primary data report (FIR) on defamation the identical because the FIR on homicide? We usually are not the one ones speaking about corruption. There are written complaints, a few of them had been even despatched to the PM, president and governor. People are asking this query. We are right here to reply this. There are people who find themselves in jail.
Is the Congress unnerved by the PM as trump card and his highway reveals?
It is the PM’s want to do highway reveals, to go from lane to lane. No PM has ever completed this. He is doing this as a result of he’s afraid. He should not overlook that his obligation is to folks. Manipur is burning, however each the PM and HM don’t care. He needs energy, not growth or peaceable ambiance, for his folks.
