Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) has gained eight prizes and three rolling trophies for growth of greenery in several classes within the Seventh Telangana Garden Festival 2023 on Sunday. HMRL horticulture officer Sainath obtained the awards from Minister for Agriculture S. Niranjan Reddy not too long ago.
One rolling runner up trophy has been given for total efficiency within the growth of greenery alongside the Metro corridors; one other for growth of lovely panorama at HMR Bhavan, Rasoolpura, and the opposite rolling trophy is for greenery growth at Miyapur Metro rail station.
HMRL MD N.V.S. Reddy stated that theme-based gardens have been developed regardless of area constraints and but the agency has been receiving awards usually at backyard festivals. “We give prime precedence to greenery growth beneath the Metro viaducts, apart from avenue plantation, and thus, contributing to regulate air pollution within the metropolis,” he added.
HMRL had gained first prizes in greenery growth for Nagole Metro station, greenery growth between Jubilee Hills examine publish and Hi-Tech City stations, greenery growth at coaching centre close to Miyapur Metro station, roof backyard growth on the terrace of the coaching centre; second prizes for growth of central median, Nagole (first pillar to NGRI Metro station and greenery growth between Parade Grounds and Gymkhana Grounds, stated a press launch.
