Cracking down on voter inducement by political leaders within the State, the Election Commission has made seizures totalling ₹92.97 crore, together with money, liquor, medication, and metals, within the final 48 hours. The amount of money seized was ₹1.2 crore, whereas liquor value ₹2.66 crore, narcotics value ₹1.88 crore, treasured metals value ₹1.9 crore, and different objects (freebies) value ₹1.58 crore have been seized, stated an announcement from the workplace of the Chief Electoral Officer, Karnataka.
