Popular television actress Drashti Dhami has welcomed a baby girl! On Tuesday (October 22), the new mom took to her official Instagram account to share the exciting news with her fans and followers.

Drashti posted an adorable video featuring a baby elephant, with the text on the clip reading, “Straight from heaven into our hearts… a whole new life, a whole new start.” She captioned the post, “SHE IS HERE 22.10.2024,” accompanied by several heart emojis. Check out her post below:

As soon as Drashti shared the joyful update, celebrities flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages. Actor Ruslaan Mumtaaz wrote, “OMG CONGRATULATIONS,” while actress Pooja Gor commented, “Congratulations ❤️❤️❤️ much love to all of you.”

Just a day before, Drashti posted a hilarious video referencing ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’, offering a lighthearted take on her prenatal journey. In the reel, Drashti, who was 41 weeks pregnant, humorously reflected on the wait for her baby’s arrival. As she lovingly caressed her baby bump, the classic ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’ line “That’s right, still no baby” played in the background. She captioned it, “Baby is really teasing me now. Rachel vibes.”
Drashti had announced her pregnancy in June 2024, after nine years of marriage to businessman Neeraj Khemka. For those who might not know, the couple tied the knot in 2015, after dating for more than five years, in a traditional Hindu ceremony.

She has also appeared in web series like The Empire and Duranga.
