Retirement fund physique EPFO has extended the date for submitting functions to decide for a higher pension till June 26, 2023.

“(*26*) EPFO (Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation) has made preparations for acquiring functions for validation of choice/joint choice from pensioners/members as per the Supreme Court order on November 4, 2022,” labour ministry stated in a press release.
To facilitate this course of, on-line facility has been made obtainable.
More than 12 lakh functions have been obtained till date.
(*26*) on-line facility was to stay obtainable solely till May 3, 2023.
In the meantime, many representations have been obtained from varied quarters in search of extension of time.
