Buddhist spiritual chief Dalai Lama has triggered a controversy after a purported video of him asking a baby to kiss on his lips earlier than asking the child to “suck” his tongue surfaced on-line.
The video, which has now gone viral on the web, apparently reveals the Dalai Lama kissing the boy, who approached him to pay his respect to the spiritual chief.
“Can you suck my tongue,” the Buddhist spiritual chief is heard asking the minor boy within the viral clip.
However, the video has met with blended responses from netizens.
“Dalai Lama kissed an Indian boy at a #Dharma occasion and even tried to tongue kiss the boy who then resisted. At the time, Dalai Lama was salivating. Such a disgusting scene! Context? The hyperlink to the total video has been turned personal. Inappropriate to say the least,” a consumer criticised Dalai Lama’s gesture.

“The video going round of the Dalai Lama making an attempt to kiss a 7 12 months previous boy has me feeling so sick, nauseous and completely disgusted. I’m petrified of what this world is coming too,” one other one stated.
However, a consumer defended the spiritual chief’s behaviour and tweeted, “Dalai Lama did the Maori custom of New Zealand of rubbing noses and he does that with everybody Adults and Kids alike. The pure thoughts of a child kissed him with love and in the remainder of video he is simply reciprocating that love. A morally corrupt society has made our minds small.”
“What they had been doing was undoubtedly no molestation. Do you suppose Dalai Lama if he had to molest a child he’ll do infront of cameras within the public,” the second said.
“The child requested to hug & kiss him. Dalai Lama has an absurd humorousness & was mocking the child for his request. That stated, its a baby & he was clearly uncomfortable, an apology is due for that. Chinese stooges pushing pedophilia or molestation want their heads examined,” the third consumer added.
However, the spiritual chief had earlier courted controversy in 2019 after claiming that if a lady, could be succeeding him, then she needs to be “engaging.” “If a feminine Dalai Lama comes, she needs to be extra engaging,” he had stated.
Meanwhile, an eight-year-old boy born within the US was named by the Dalai Lama because the reincarnation of the third most necessary religious chief in Tibetan Buddhism.
