Gurugram: Core Diagnostics announced its exclusive partnership with Digistain. The collaboration aims to bring the breast cancer risk profiling technology, Digistain, to India, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh.
Digistain is a digital solution for cancer grading and prognosis, approved by the UK’s Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). It offers a rapid, affordable, and AI-enabled solution to predict the likelihood of post-surgery breast cancer recurrence. This technology is designed to prevent breast cancer patients from undergoing unnecessary chemotherapy.
It has been developed with input from over 1,500 oncologists and has been successfully trialled at prominent cancer centres such as Nottingham University NHS Trust, the National Institute of Healthcare Research (NIHR) and Cancer Research UK.
The digital solution has been thoroughly vetted by the National Health Service (NHS), affirming its commitment to adhering to the highest standards of medical safety and efficacy. This endorsement by the NHS not only underscores the reliability of Digistain’s technologies but also ensures that they meet the rigorous demands of healthcare professionals and patients.
