Check 1st & 2nd Year Results Online
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on Email

🔴 Live Update — April 7, 2026: TS Intermediate Result 2026 has not yet been officially announced. Board sources indicate the result is expected between April 10 and April 12, 2026. TSBIE has not confirmed the exact date or time. This page will be updated the moment results go live. Official website: tgbienew.cgg.gov.in

Across Telangana — in Hyderabad, Warangal, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Khammam, and hundreds of smaller towns — over 9 lakh students are sitting with their hall tickets nearby, checking their phones every few hours. Intermediate results are that kind of result. Not just a score. For 2nd year students, it decides which college, which course, which city. For 1st year students, it tells them where they stand before the final push.

The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) completed the Intermediate Public Examinations for 2026 in the third week of March. Evaluation of answer sheets has been underway since early March. Based on board sources and consistent reporting from education outlets, the TS Inter Result 2026 is expected between April 10 and April 12, 2026.

No official date has been confirmed by TSBIE as of April 7. The board typically announces results via a press conference with only a few hours’ advance notice. This guide tells you exactly how to check the moment it drops — and what to do in the critical days immediately after.

Check 1st & 2nd Year Results Online

Official Websites — Save All Three Now

The TS Inter result will go live on these portals simultaneously:

All three carry the same data. On result day, traffic across Telangana hits these portals simultaneously and all three can slow down or time out in the first 30 to 60 minutes. Having all three bookmarked gives you options when one is unresponsive.

Do not check results on Manabadi or any other third-party site for official purposes. While popular, these portals pull data from the board and may lag or show cached results. For downloading your official marks memo, use the TSBIE portals above or DigiLocker.

What You Need Before the Result Goes Live

Have your hall ticket (admit card) in hand. You will need:

  • Hall Ticket Number — printed on your admit card
  • Date of Birth — in DD/MM/YYYY format
  • Whether you are 1st Year or 2nd Year — results for both are typically declared on the same day

That is all. No registration number, no OTP. Just your hall ticket number and date of birth.

If you have misplaced your hall ticket and forgotten the number, contact your junior college principal or class teacher immediately. The institution has your hall ticket number on record. Do not wait until result day to sort this out.

How to Check TS Inter Result 2026 — Step by Step

Step 1: Open https://tgbienew.cgg.gov.in on your browser. Use Chrome for the most reliable experience — the TSBIE portal’s captcha and result forms work best on Chrome on both desktop and mobile.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for the link labelled “TS Inter Results 2026” or “Intermediate Public Examinations Results 2026.” This link will appear prominently once results go live.

Step 3: Click the appropriate link — 1st Year or 2nd Year — based on which class you appeared for. Both will be visible.

Step 4: Enter your Hall Ticket Number and Date of Birth in the fields provided. Double-check the hall ticket number — a single wrong digit will return no result.

Step 5: Click Submit. Your marks memo appears on screen, showing subject-wise marks, grades, total marks, and pass or fail status.

Step 6: Download the PDF immediately or take a clear screenshot. Save it to your phone’s internal storage, not just a tab — result pages are session-based and closing the browser ends access.

On mobile: The portal works on Chrome for Android. If the result page is loading slowly, do not keep refreshing — this adds to the server load and makes loading slower for everyone. Switch to tsbie.cgg.gov.in and try from there. If both are slow, move to DigiLocker (described below).

Method 2: DigiLocker — For the Official Digital Marksheet

Your TS Intermediate marks memo is available through DigiLocker at https://digilocker.gov.in as an electronically signed official document — accepted by colleges and universities for admission across India.

If you have a DigiLocker account: Log in → go to “Issued Documents” → look under the Education section for TSBIE. Your marks memo should appear automatically once the board pushes data.

If it does not appear automatically: tap “Search Documents” → select “Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE)” → enter your hall ticket number and date of birth → click “Get Document.”

New to DigiLocker? Download the app from Google Play Store (search “DigiLocker” — official app by NeGD), register with your mobile number, complete OTP verification, and set your security PIN. Then follow the steps above to access your marks memo.

The DigiLocker marksheet is the same document your college will ask for during admissions. Most degree colleges and professional course institutions across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh accept it directly — you do not need to wait for the physical copy from your junior college for most purposes.

Method 3: SMS

Send an SMS to check your result even on a basic phone without internet access:

Send: TSINTER(HALLTICKET NUMBER) to 56263

Example: If your hall ticket number is 1234567890, send TSINTER1234567890 to 56263

The SMS result will be delivered to your phone within a few minutes. This method is especially useful in areas with weak data connectivity — as long as you have basic mobile signal, it works.

Reading Your Marks Memo — What It Shows

Once the result loads, check these fields carefully:

Subject-wise marks: Maximum marks differ by subject — English and commerce subjects are out of 100, while Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology are out of 60, and Mathematics is out of 75. The marks memo shows what you scored in each subject along with your grade.

Grading system: TSBIE uses a letter grade system — A (Excellent), B (Very Good), C (Good), D (Pass). Each grade corresponds to a marks range.

Passing criteria — important to understand clearly:

  • Minimum 35% marks in each subject — theory and practical separately, where applicable
  • Minimum 35% overall aggregate across all subjects
  • Both conditions must be met. Scoring 35% aggregate is not enough if you fall below 35% in one individual subject.

Pass / Fail / Detained: The result shows your overall status. Students who fail in one or two subjects are eligible for the Advanced Supplementary Examination in June 2026. Students who fail in three or more subjects would need to reappear in the next academic cycle.

Case Study 1: Meghana from Warangal, Telangana

Meghana appeared for TS Inter 2nd Year in 2025. Her overall aggregate was 52%, comfortably above the 35% pass threshold. But her Chemistry theory paper showed 19 out of 60 — just below the minimum of 21 (35% of 60) required to pass that subject individually.

Her overall aggregate was fine. She had passed everything else. But because Chemistry theory fell below 35%, she was declared failed in that subject — with pass status in all others.

She applied for the Advanced Supplementary Examination in the subject within the application deadline. She cleared it in June 2025 with focused preparation on that one paper. Her marks memo now reflects pass status across all subjects, which was accepted for her B.Sc admissions without any issue.

The lesson: always check subject-wise marks carefully against the 35% threshold — do not just look at the overall status.

What Nobody Tells You: The Marks Memo Is Not the Final Certificate

Every year, students make admissions decisions based on the online marks memo and then scramble when colleges ask for documents they do not have.

The online result is a provisional marks memo — an official score reference, not a final certificate. Three separate documents are eventually issued by your junior college:

1. Marks Memo — subject-wise scores, issued online first, then in physical form

2. Pass Certificate — confirms you have passed the Intermediate examination, required for degree course admissions

3. Migration Certificate — Migration certificate required if you are joining a college outside Telangana, or switching from one university to another

For most degree admissions in Telangana, the online marks memo is sufficient for the initial application. But for final document submission, the physical marks memo and pass certificate issued by your junior college are required. Collect these from your college as soon as they are distributed — typically 2 to 4 weeks after result declaration.

If you are applying to colleges outside Telangana — in Hyderabad’s private deemed universities, or institutions in other states — check their specific document requirements. Some require an attested physical copy, not just the DigiLocker version.

Case Study 2: Arjun from Karimnagar, Telangana

Arjun checked his TS Inter 2nd Year result 2024 online, saw he had passed, took a screenshot, and did not think about it further. When he applied to a B.Tech programme at a private university in Hyderabad two months later, the admissions office asked for his Pass Certificate.

He went to his junior college — but the principal told him the physical certificates had not yet been dispatched by the board to the college. He had to submit a bonafide certificate from his college confirming he had passed, along with the online marks memo printout, as a temporary measure — and wait three weeks for the physical Pass Certificate before completing his admission documentation.

He got through, but barely within the deadline. The straightforward lesson: the moment results are declared, ask your junior college when physical certificates will be distributed and mark that date on your calendar. Do not assume the online result is all you will ever need.

After the Result — What to Do Depending on Your Score

If you have passed 2nd Year: College admissions open quickly. Telangana’s degree college admissions — both government and private — typically begin through centralised counselling within weeks of the Intermediate result. Register on the relevant admission portal as soon as it opens. Engineering aspirants also need JEE or TS EAMCET scores — check your respective ranks.

If you have passed 1st Year: You move to 2nd Year automatically. Your junior college will inform you of the schedule for 2nd year registration. No separate action is needed beyond collecting your 1st year marks memo.

If you have failed in one or two subjects (2nd Year): Apply for the Advanced Supplementary Examination in June 2026. The application is submitted online through the TSBIE Student Online Service Portal at tgbie.cgg.gov.in. Your junior college will inform you of the exact application dates and fee.

If you want re-evaluation: TSBIE offers two post-result services for students not satisfied with their marks:

  • Recounting: Marks are re-totalled for calculation errors only. Lower fee.
  • Revaluation: Answer scripts are re-evaluated by a different examiner. Fee is ₹600 per subject.

Applications for both are submitted online through the TSBIE portal within the prescribed window — typically 15 days from result declaration. Do not approach the board directly — the process is entirely online.

Common Mistakes and How to Fix Them

❌ Entering the hall ticket number incorrectly — transposing two digits or including extra spaces

✅ Copy your hall ticket number from your admit card carefully. The number is typically 10 digits. Enter it exactly, no spaces. A single wrong digit will show “No Record Found” — which is a data entry error, not a result issue.

❌ Checking Manabadi as the primary source and downloading that result as your official marks memo

✅ Manabadi is a third-party aggregator. Download your official marks memo only from tgbienew.cgg.gov.in or through DigiLocker. The DigiLocker version carries a digital signature — the Manabadi download does not.

❌ Refreshing the result page repeatedly when it is slow, causing the session to reset

✅ When the portal is under load, clicking back or refreshing resets the form. If the page is loading, wait up to 90 seconds before concluding it has failed. Try tsbie.cgg.gov.in if tgbienew.cgg.gov.in is unresponsive.

❌ Assuming passing in aggregate means passing all subjects

✅ Check each subject individually against the 35% minimum. A student can have a 50% aggregate but still be declared failed in one subject where theory marks fell below 35% of that paper’s maximum. Always verify subject-by-subject.

❌ On mobile: opening the result in a new tab while an ongoing OTP verification in another tab is pending

✅ Complete one process at a time on mobile browsers. Switching between tabs during a login or OTP session sometimes invalidates the session. Open the result portal fresh in a new tab only after your DigiLocker login is fully complete.

❌ Not saving the hall ticket number before result day

✅ Note down your hall ticket number now and save it on your phone as a contact or note. If your admit card is not at hand on result day, the number needs to be available without hunting for documents.

Frequently Asked Questions

TS Inter Result 2026 kab aayega — official date kya hai?

April 7, 2026 tak TSBIE ne koi official date confirm nahi ki hai. Board sources ke mutabik result April 10 se 12 ke beech aane ki ummeed hai. TSBIE result din se ek do ghante pehle press conference ke zariye announce karta hai. Tgbienew.cgg.gov.in ko bookmark karein aur regularly check karte rahein.

What are the official websites for TS Inter Result 2026?

Three official portals: tgbienew.cgg.gov.in, tsbie.cgg.gov.in, and bse.telangana.gov.in. All three carry the same result. If one is slow, try the others. DigiLocker at digilocker.gov.in provides the official electronically signed marks memo.

What are the passing marks for TS Intermediate 2026?

Students must score a minimum of 35% in each subject — theory and practical are evaluated separately where applicable — and a minimum 35% overall aggregate. Both conditions are mandatory. Clearing the aggregate alone is not sufficient if any individual subject is below 35%.

How many students appeared for TS Inter 2026?

Over 9 lakh students (approximately 9,97,075) appeared — for both 1st Year (February 25 to March 17) and 2nd Year (February 26 to March 18). Both years’ results are expected to be declared together.

What was TS Inter pass percentage in 2025?

The overall TS Inter pass percentage in 2025 was 65.80%. The 2026 pass percentage will be announced alongside the result.

TS Inter mein fail ho gaya ek subject mein — kya karna chahiye?

Agar ek ya do subjects mein fail hue hain toh Advanced Supplementary Examination ke liye apply karein. Yeh June 2026 mein hogi. Application online hogi TSBIE ke Student Online Service Portal par — tgbie.cgg.gov.in. Aapka junior college aapko exact dates aur fees batayega.

Can I use DigiLocker marksheet for college admissions?

Yes. The TSBIE marks memo on DigiLocker carries a digital signature and is an official document accepted by most degree colleges and universities across Telangana and many institutions nationally. However, for final document verification, physical copies issued by your junior college are typically also required — check with your specific institution.

What is the revaluation fee for TS Inter Result 2026?

The revaluation fee is ₹600 per subject. Applications are submitted online through the TSBIE portal within the prescribed window after result declaration, typically 15 days. Recounting (re-totalling only) is available at a lower fee. Both services are accessible at tgbie.cgg.gov.in.

Nine lakh students. Each one has put in months of work — some navigating it alongside family pressure, financial stress, or health setbacks that nobody writes about in result statistics. A result is a number, and a number is a starting point — for the next decision, the next course, the next plan.

Check your result the moment it is available at https://tgbienew.cgg.gov.in. Save it. Verify every subject. Then speak to your college about what the next step looks like — whether that is degree admission, supplementary exams, or revaluation.
