The Boxing Federation of India (BFI) has opened a dialogue with nations boycotting the Women’s World Championship to get them to reverse their resolution. The marquee occasion is scheduled to be performed on March 15 to March 16 in New Delhi.
Earlier, the International Boxing Association (IBA) lifted the ban on Russian and Belarusian boxers and allowed them to compete below their very own flag. This resolution is towards the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) suggestions due to the continued warfare in Ukraine and has resulted in 9 nations boycotting the match. These nations embody the USA, Britain, Ireland, Canada, Sweden, Poland, Netherlands, Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

The BFI, on its half, has initiated a dialogue with six of the boycotting nations with the hope that some of them will reverse their resolution.
“We have written to six nations which have pulled out. They are open to speaking to President Ajay Singh. We do not know at what degree the choice has been taken by them if the nationwide federation has taken it or if the choice is taken by the federal government.
“But the endeavour is there to get some of these nations if not all to take part,” Malik added.
The nationwide federation can also be in talks with IBA. The current occasions have put India in a troublesome state of affairs as a number nation.
