At the Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! – Fun on the Run trailer launch, Aasif Sheikh and Ravi Kishan revealed a near-miss with a falling tree during filming.
After a decade of ruling television, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain is heading to the big screen with its film adaptation Fun On The Run.
As Zee Studios and Edit II unveiled the trailer of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! – Fun on the Run, the laughter-filled event also witnessed a shocking revelation from the film’s cast. During interactions at the trailer launch, actors Aasif Sheikh and Ravi Kishan recalled an on-set incident that could have turned dangerous during the film’s shoot.
Sharing the experience, Aasif Sheikh revealed that the incident took place on the very first day at a new shooting location. “It was our first day at a new location. Ravi and I were sitting next to each other, sipping coffee. There was some distance between us when suddenly, a tree almost 12–13 feet long fell right between us. If one of us had been in the place of the falling tree, hamari chutney ban jaati. We were completely stunned. It felt like an adventurous reunion”
Adding to it Ravi Kishan added, “The tree must have weighed close to 500 kilos. It fell right between us and created a massive ‘boom’ sound. I did bruise my shoulder during the incident,” he shared.
Producer Sanjay Kohli, who was present at the time, said, “For a good 30 minutes, we were all speechless. Ravi got hurt on his shoulder and went for treatment, but within half an hour, he was back on the sets saying, ‘Chalo, karte hai shooting’,” Kohli recalled.
Starring Shubhangi Atre, Vidisha Srivastava, Aasif Sheikh, Rohitashv Gour, Ravi Kishan, Mukesh Tiwari, and Nirahua, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! – Fun on the Run is produced by Zee Cinema, Sanjay Kohli, and Binaiffer Kohli, presented by Zee Studios and Sanjay Kohli, and directed by Shashank Bali. The film marks the highly anticipated transition of India’s beloved television comedy franchise to the big screen. The film hits theatres on 6 February 2026.
