New Delhi: The Association of Healthcare Providers (India) has partnered with UAE-based Mulk Med Healthcare Group to strengthen India’s position as a global medical tourism destination and improve access to affordable, high-quality care for international patients.
AHPI, which represents nearly 20,000 hospitals across the country, said the collaboration will integrate its network of accredited hospitals with Mulk Med’s virtual global hospital platform to streamline cross-border patient referrals and care coordination.
The partnership aims to simplify patient journeys for those seeking treatment in India from Asia, Africa, the Middle East, CIS countries and other emerging markets, offering digital access to hospitals, faster referrals and transparent treatment options.
Under the collaboration, international patients will be able to undergo remote AI-driven health assessments, receive preliminary diagnosis and triage, compare treatment options across India and more than 20 countries, and access end-to-end support services including visa assistance, travel health insurance and hospital scheduling.
“India is uniquely positioned to deliver advanced clinical care at an affordable cost,” said Dr Girdhar J. Gyani, Director General, AHPI, adding that the partnership aligns with AHPI’s goal of expanding access to quality healthcare globally.
The initiative is expected to support demand for complex procedures across oncology, cardiology, orthopaedics, organ transplants and fertility care. Pilot programmes will be rolled out in select states, followed by a phased national expansion.
