Actor Vinayakan on Tuesday (January 21) tendered an apology after a video of him exhibiting nudity went viral on social media.
The actor said in a Facebook post that he was “not able to handle many issues”, both as an actor and an individual. He expressed deep regret for the “negative energy” caused by his actions and tendered an apology to the public.
In the viral video, the actor was seen stripping off his clothes and exhibiting nudity from the balcony of his apartment. He was also heard hurling abuse at his neighbour.
The actor also drew criticism from netizens for his indecent behaviour.
The police have not taken any action against him in connection with the incident as no complaint has been filed yet.
