FASTag Annual Pass: The FASTag Annual Pass facility has witnessed a huge response from National Highway (NH) users, with over five lakh vehicle owners applied for the pass within just four days of its launch.
The FASTag Annual Toll Pass is designed to ensure seamless, faster, convenient and efficient tolling experience across National Highways (NHs). Earlier, this facility was limited to commercial vehicles only.
FASTag Annual Pass Activation Online
The Annual Pass can be activated only on the Rajmargyatra mobile application and NHAI website. It will be activated after verifying the eligibility of the vehicle and the associated FASTag.
Upon successful verification, the user must make a payment of Rs 3,000 for the base year 2025–26 through the Rajmargyatra mobile application or the NHAI website.
Once the payment is confirmed, the Annual Pass will be activated on the registered FASTag normally within two hours.

Here’s how to activate FASTag Annual Toll Pass via Rajmargyatra app:
- Download Rajmargyatra mobile application
- Select the option – Annual Pass
- Tap on the tab ‘Pre-Book’
- Follow instructions to ‘Get Started’
- Enter your registered vehicle number
- Check your vehicle’s eligibility and validate
- Get OTP and verify your number
- Next step: Proceed to Payment
- Choose the payment mode – UPI, Cards or Net Banking
- See the price breakup (Amount, Convenience Charges, GST on convenience charges), go to payment gateway
- Enjoy the benefits of Annual Pass

How to Renew or Update Your FASTag Pass
The Annual Pass is valid for one year from the date of activation or 200 transactions (trips), whichever comes first. Once the Annual Pass completes either 200 trips or one year from the date of activation, it will automatically revert to a regular FASTag. To continue using the Annual Pass benefits, the user will need to re-activate the Annual Pass to get 200 trips/one year validity.
