The Punjab authorities will ship one other batch of 30 principals of authorities colleges to Singapore for coaching, state Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains stated on Thursday.
Bains stated the batch will probably be an element of international-level schooling coaching on the National Institute of Education International, Singapore from March 4 to March 11.
In a press release, the minister stated the intention of the Bhagwant Mann-led authorities is to make the schooling system of the state “world class” by bringing qualitative transformation within the authorities school schooling.
Last month, the primary batch of 36 school principals had gone to Singapore for coaching. They had participated in a Professional Teacher Training seminar in Singapore from February 6 to 10.
However, Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit had later requested the chief minister to clarify the method of choosing the principals, claiming he obtained complaints of “malpractices and illegalities”.
